Elena channels her dedication to community into CERI, by raising awareness about Moldovan children, fueled by her passion for making a difference.

How It Started:

Elena found her passion for helping children by serving her community. Over time, Elena discovered that assisting her community in small ways could result in a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. By investing time and resources, she was able to notice the change in many lives. She believes that although we can’t change the past, there are always ways to shape the future.

Why CERI?

Elena was drawn to CERI because of their work of creating a supportive “village” around children, ensuring that they have the best opportunities for growth, development, and a bright future.

Behind the Scenes:

In her free time, Elena enjoys going for walks and admiring plants in the botanical gardens. She also enjoys painting and playing the ukulele.

What Protecting Childhood Means:

“To provide an appropriate environment where a child can play, learn, create, and develop.”

Favorite Childhood Memory:

“The childhood memories that I often recall are the family gatherings during the holidays when my grandparents were still alive. At a large table, you could have seen people from several generations with different ideas and preferences, telling interesting life stories.”
