Alina Grecova
Case Manager, CERI Moldova
Alina brings her love of children and passion for helping families to a reality, but working alongside them to ensure they may thrive for a stronger tomorrow.
How It Started:
After several years of working with children, both in Sunday school and through Christian camps, Alina decided to further explore her passion by joining a team that involves each of these aspects… helping children and embracing Christianity. Her desire to help young individuals at risk provides an opportunity to focus on activities and programs that support and empower children facing challenges.
Why CERI?
Alina aligns with CERI’s mission to help and support children and families in need. She’s grateful for the opportunity to help change the lives of individuals and communities.
Behind The Scenes:
Alina enjoys building puzzles and playing games with her kids. She also likes taking strolls in the forest, sewing, and reading books.
What Protecting Childhood Means:
“To me, protecting childhood means giving the necessary care to a child so that they can grow up and become a happy adult.”
Favorite Childhood Memory:
“Every morning before leaving for work, my mother would prepare and wrap food between blankets and pillows. She wanted to make sure that we had a warm meal when we came home from school. The feeling that someone is taking care of me makes this memory alive and very precious.”
“I feel blessed that I can use my language skills in my work and I am part of a great ministry with children, youth and their families. The best part of my work with CERI is to be able to serve children in need and give them hope for a better future. I am also grateful that through this work I meet amazing people and I appreciate them for their dedication and commitment to those we serve.”
