Tutoring

Tutoring

Tutoring is offered to both, students in the upper primary grade levels and current high school students.

The tutoring services were expanded to include current Ruth School students in grades 5 through 8 in order to address retention rates among students in this age group, to further invest in girls who are at risk of abandoning school and to encourage them to continue their education.

The services also ensure that students are best positioned for success as they prepare for and take the national standardized test for admission into Romanian high schools. Tutoring is a critical service since only 17% of Roma adults have attended high school, and parents are an unlikely source of assistance when a Roma youth needs help with homework or school-related projects.
