Individual and Group Counseling
The counseling program offers a three-fold slate of services that meet the needs of economically disadvantaged women on several levels. Individual psychological counseling serves women facing domestic or substance issues within their families, those with other difficult backgrounds or life experiences, or those struggling with debilitating mental issues such as depression and anxiety.
A full-time professional counselor equips them with coping strategies, and hope for resolution and healing. Group counseling sessions provide valuable education on women’s physical and mental health issues and other topics relevant to their roles within their cultures and community in a therapeutic group environment.
