Career Development

Career Development services are geared towards increasing income generation for women.

The project staff assist women with creating and updating CVs, seeking open positions and vocational training programs matched to their level of education and skill for which to apply, completing applications, coaching women on interviewing skills, assisting them to obtain interviews, and conducting mock interviews.

This assistance is invaluable in promoting the employability and economic advancement of these women and often provides secondary emotional benefits as well by emphasizing their strengths, boosting confidence and self-image, and reducing the apprehension inherent in searching for work, especially in the presence of compounding factors such as ethnic discrimination, lack of education, and limited literacy skills.

The program is also funding vocational training programs in high-demand fields for eligible women.
