Youth Circles of Support are organized for each Transitional Care program participant.
A circle of support represents a group of adults (relatives, friends, teachers, etc.) interested in the welfare of a youth. They are asked to provide specific types of assistance at strategic moments in the youth’s life.
The purpose is to ensure available resources exist to help the youth overcome challenges as they work to transition into adulthood. Circles of support members are picked by the program participant and are required to gather once a year.
