Career Development Services are made available to the youth who have completed their professional education or are in the process of completing it. Youth are taught:
- How to write a resume
- How to look for a job in their community
- How to present themselves during a job interview; and
- How to negotiate their contract or schedule.
CERI staff can arrange for their interviews and follow-ups, if needed. The purpose of this service is for each young adult graduating from a professional school (either a technical college, a vocational school, or a university) and leaving the Transitional Care program, to find and keep a job that could support them through early adulthood.
