Child Development and Education

Child Development and Education is provided to the mothers by the representatives of local health departments and public authorities (midwives, doctors, nurses) during the Awareness events. 

Mothers explore a curriculum that teaches them about:

  • Nutrition and Hygiene (including Food Quality and Safety, the Value of Nutrients, Clean Water, Street Food)
  • Family Planning (including Pregnancy, Breastfeeding and Infant Care, Sexually-Transmitted Diseases)
  • Early Child Development (including Children’s Developmental Stages, Healthy Family Environment, Child Discipline, Child Neglect, Abuse and Sexual Exploitation)
  • Sustainable Food (including Building Capacity for Accessing Fresh Produce, Raising and Caring for Domestic Animals, Modern Agriculture).
