Sujanthini and her siblings live with their grandmother because their parents abandoned them. Sujanthini was only 4 years old when her parents went away. Her grandmother, Thirumanjanam, is 64years old and has poor health and hearing. Hence, she relies on her grandchildren for help and support. Because of this situation and the financial difficulties of the family, Sujanthini's eldest brother dropped out of school and went to work to feed his 5 siblings. However, the burden was too great and he committed suicide a few months later. Eventually, Sujanthini’s eldest sister and other brother dropped out of school to work so that they could afford their basic needs. Sujanthini is interested in staying in school, studying, and taking extra classes. Her hobby is drawing and she has excellent handwriting. CERI wants to provide Sujanthini the opportunity to be raised in a loving and nurturing environment and assist her in achieving her educational goals. Your support will offer her a chance for a better life.
