My name is Ovidiu. From childhood, I lived at a sanatorium. Sometimes my aunt, who cared about me and my sister, would visit us. I don’t remember my mother ever visiting. At the sanatorium I made some friends and spent a lot of time with them. But no one could fill the gap in my heart. I wanted to live at home like other children. When I was in 4th grade, I found out that my mother died, and my father was in jail. I wanted to go home, but there was chaos and disorder there. Some of our uncles lived in our house and they were very aggressive and suffered from alcoholism. The authorities decided to place me and my sister in a children’s shelter. I attended school in the city and I am now in 9th grade. When I have free time, I enjoy playing soccer and I am fond of instrumental music, such as contrabass and guitar. I love animals, especially dogs (Husky and Labradors). I’m impressed with the way they learn and I think they are our best friends. One of my dreams is to become a good manager and open my own business.
