Niludshan’s parents couldn’t get along, separated and abandoned him. He now lives with his grandmother and has no memory of his parents. He refers to his grandmother as his “mother”. She is elderly and her small income is not sufficient to cover Niludshan’s basic needs and school supplies. Niludshan is in the 2nd grade and does well in school. He is very friendly and tells others he wants to one day become a bank manager. He often hears other children talking about their fathers and wonders about his own and wishes he had a father figure in his life. Your sponsorship will ensure Niludshan’s basic needs are met, has the school supplies he needs and has a family that will encourage him to thrive and achieve his goals.
