My name is Maxim. I was born in Moldova. I lived with my parents until I was 10. Since they suffered from alcoholism and abandoned me, I was brought by the social workers to the orphanage in Tirnova. I stayed there for 5 years and, in all that time, no one came to visit me, or bring me clothes or sweets. I felt alone, abandoned, helpless and without parental love. The educators from the orphanage didn’t have time for us and they did not play with us. Presently, I am a student at the Professional school. When I have free time, I enjoy playing with children and I like to hide and see if they can find me. I like to clean the garden, take care of animals and birds. I was placed in a family, and we attend church together. I appreciate how my foster parents treat me. They have so much patience when they talk and I can feel their love. I like attending church and youth meetings. I see that at the church, people have better attitudes and behaviors. My goal is to graduate from the Professional School and find a good job.
