My name is Corin and I am in 8th grade. I was born in a village in Moldova. I am 14 years old. My father rarely communicates with me and isn’t involved in my life. After being severely ill, my mother passed away. After her death, I was taken to a relative’s house and then to an orphanage. At the orphanage I felt alone. I was often sad and wanted to go home. I missed my mom. After five years at the orphanage, I was moved to a placement center and they found me a foster family in 2016. When I have free time, I like to play soccer. I have a best friend who I share a desk with at school. We spend a lot of time together because I feel comfortable around him. I like to do housework. I love animals and I always take care of them. I appreciate when people are responsible and care for each other. After graduating from school, I want to continue my studies and become a skilled chef. My dream is to open my own restaurant in Paris, where one of my uncles lives.
