For the past 17 years, CERI has organized 20 Shoe Missions to eight countries, deploying 600 volunteers to provide 100,000 children with winter boots. These children experience the power of a new pair of winter boots because someone cared enough to GO, GROW and GIVE! Click the links below to Find out more.
Watch the video to witness the power of a Pair of Winter Boots
For an impoverished child who lives in Moldova, owning a good pair of winter boots means to be able to go to school when it snows. A pair of winter boots allows children to play outside on snowy days. They give them the ability to go to the grocery store when it rains. A good pair of winter boots helps children feel good about themselves. It means to have the freedom to move and not be afraid of the winter, not be ashamed of their shoes, not be scared of frostbite and not be hesitant to face the brutal cold! A pair of winter boots seems like a small gift, but it has the power to change someone’s life for the better.
