Did you know CERI is impacting social change in India?
In the spring of 2016, CERI’s National Program Director – Ian Anand Forber-Pratt – trained the Government of a state of 91+ million people in Eastern India on how to implement foster care in their region. The state was historically ruled by the Left Front (Communist Party) for 34 years (1977–2011), making it the world’s longest-running democratically elected Communist Government. The training was a monumental step forward in the process of adopting foster care as country-wide practice for caring for orphaned and abandoned children!
